I've been a fan of ours for only about four or five years - after seeing you in a movie and checking out what I found to be an extraordinary musical career. Mostly, to her great credit, through Janice Lo's website. Now, I'm 50, English speaking, and am learning Chinese at a rate which will make me marginally proficient during my retirement! But I love to listen to your songs, and the sites with translations of your lyrics are an enjoyable way to learn. If I don't get distracted by just listening! I must congratulate you on your work with helping animals. My wife and I have a bearded collie (well, more-or-less - we adopted him at the Toronto Humane Society's shelter, so we can't be absolutely sure - but it doesn't matter). We have loved him for almost 15 years (April 1 is his birthday - he is an ox, like me), and he is a bit frail, but we keep him going, and he still is sharp and enjoys life. (If I could attach a picture I would; Janice has one, a BIG file I sent her accidentally - I do have smaller ones. He is lying down, a bowl in front of him, with a crown of dandelions. His name is ASCII (pronounced "Ahs-key"). He is adorable. And your life? I can't see you stepping out of working forever! What about something different, not too strenuous, but using your great gifts and talents? Maybe an occasional or even regular guest spot on, say, a children's show, where you can teach them something, and perhaps sing a song for them (traditional, etc.). Appear on shows like Sesame Street, which are broadcast in many different languages - I think you could become a worldwide phenomenon!
