This
is Jessie's description on what happened during Vivian's part of Leon's
concert. Jessie wrote:
WOW!!...Vivian was a guest at Leon's Magic Live Concert! When I saw Vivian appear on stage, I was totally surprised!!... who would have ever thought that after 15 years of not appearing on stage together that Leon's charity concert would bring Vivian and Leon back on stage together 15 years later! Before Vivian appeared, Leon said, "It's time for a friend who hasn't been here for a long time to appear. This person is the one who gave me a cold... Chow Wai Man"...and Vivian appeared! Everyone screamed "Wah!!" and was going CRAZY!! Vivian said to the audience, "Sorry I got your Leon sick." and Leon said, "It's not just me..there's Mark and Ji Chuen...we were jokingly saying that 'hmm.. Vivian just came back from Beijing...is she going to get us sick?' But actually lots of people have a cold now." and Vivian said, "I still have some Chinese medicine. Do you want it?" Then Leon said, "No, I don't need it. We should sing one of our OLD songs (he called it the 'thousand-year-old song')...'There's True Love Tomorrow'"...and everyone started screaming. Vivian slightly slipped while walking towards the middle of the stage, but luckily our Prince Charming (Leon) was holding Snow White's (Vivian's) hand and was there to save her from falling. After this song, Vivian and Leon talked a little. Both of them said they were nervous to sing this song. Vivian said, "It's been 15 years since we've been on stage together. Siu Ming, how have you been for all these years?"... and everyone laughed...such a cute nickname for Leon...hehe. Then Leon said, "Women always remember dates better than men. I completely don't remember when it was. I just know it's a long time ago." Then Vivian said, "Let's meet up again in 15 years."...and everyone laughed... and Leon said, "Well, this can be the beginning of us continuously meeting up within these 15 years." and then Vivian said, "I'm very happy that I'm able to sing with you again tonight, and I'm very happy to see all your fans."..and everyone screamed and clapped. Then Vivian said, "I hope to go back and practice some more and see all of you again next time." Then she said good-bye and Leon held her hand as he walked her off the stage saying, "Tonight the sky is really dark, and the road is hard to see. Let me take you back."...he's such a gentleman!...hehe. It was great to hear their song again after so long. At some moments, images of the past would reappear, like when the two were everyone's idols in the 90's...and when the duet ended, it was like 'back to reality---2008.' Things have changed a lot... I mean even the two super idols from the 90's are not the same as they were before. But for a few moments...when they were hand in hand singing the song, you would think...'wow! did we go back in time?!' (Thanks Jessie for your review! See you next year at Leon's concert ^_^ ) |
