at Starlight Garden Lighting Ceremony (November

This was
the 3rd Vivian event that I went to on my short trip to HK... 3 Vivian
events in 3 days!... this has definitely been a great short trip..hehe.
When Vivian arrived to the New Town Plaza, she was walking rather quickly
with a whole team of security guards surrounding her. She walked passed
the entrance to the garden and went into one of the restaurants. She
wasn't looking very well and we heard she was feeling sick, so she had
to use the restaurant's restroom (instead of the public restroom in
the plaza). When she came out of the restaurant about 15 minutes later,
she looked better...and she said to us when she walked by, "I was
feeling car sick." About the event..we didn't actually get to see
Vivian do the lighting ceremony for the Starlight Garden...apparently
it was a private event and not opened to the public. At first we thought
we would only get to see Vivian arriving and leaving the event, since
they wouldn't let the fans go to the garden area outside, so we were
feeling rather disappointed. But then Carmen was able to convince the
organizers to let the fans go outside and stand where Vivian would be
having her TV/newspaper interviews after the lighting ceremony. Thanks
Carmen! Luckily I brought my small foldable chair to stand on...just
in case some tall people were standing in front of me, otherwise I wouldn't
be able to see anything, since all the reporters were surrounding Vivian
when they were doing their interviews. Vivian left the event a little
after 8:00PM.
