Recently in the Hong Kong's Cultural Center at the Hong Kong Visual Arts Festival "New Vision: Water Based Media Paintings" exhibition, this newspaper reporter saw a painting called "San Geung Lo Yung" (Old Man from San Geung), and the name of the artist is Vivian Chow. Vivian's painting is very good and looks very real. This painting was given the "New Vision Award" (literal translation is "New Age Visual Art Award") and is worth celebrating. Drawing was not only her hobby; she learned how to draw all by herself without a teacher. Drawing/painting gave her a very relaxing feeling, very free. She enjoyed drawing people, and she stated that when she was very young, she took on the job of being an art teacher. We can see that Vivian is very talented in drawing/painting.
